Education

My story

I’ve always been fascinated by languages, and after studying translation and interpreting at university I became a language teacher, so I could share that fascination with others.

It was when I was on maternity leave that I returned to remote translation and interpreting full time, as it gave me the flexibility I needed to work around my family.

Now mother of multiple children, if there’s one thing I’m good at it’s organising my time effectively and efficiently. My clients know they can rely on me, and that I’m always able to adapt to their needs.

When it comes to interpreting, I love the element of the unknown that’s always involved. I never know who will call from one day to the next, and so have to think on my feet, interpreting for everything from emergency hospital admissions to prisons.

When I can carve out some time for myself, you’ll find me running or practicing yoga.

I really enjoy what I do, connecting with people from all walks of life.
